alevtina kakhidze is an artist, performer, curator, designer, and gardener. she was born in zhdanovka, ukraine, in 1973. kakhidze graduated from the national academy of fine arts and architecture in kyiv, ukraine. she is known for her illustrations of the impacts of the war in eastern ukraine and her critical thinking and open initiatives. kakhidze's work often explores the complexity of today's society and searches for solutions through art. she currently lives and works in muzychi, ukraine, 26 kilometers from the city capital of kyiv.
