Born into a modest family, Gianni did not follow the traditional path of rigorous academic institutions; instead, he possessed an innate, raw talent that led him to hone his craft within the bustling art workshops of Naples. Around 1862, Gianni married Giovanna Alfaro, establishing a personal stability that would support his prolific creative output.
