Born amidst the artistic fervor of Belle Époque Paris in 1901, Maurice Prosper Lambert was a child of profound creative lineage. As the son of the renowned sculptor George Washington Lambert and the brother of the legendary composer Constant Lambert, his early life was an intersection of visual and auditory mastery. Serving as the Professor of Sculpture at the Royal Academy of Arts from 1950 to 1958, he played a pivotal role in shaping the sculptural language of a new generation of artists.
