Jan Cox (August 27, 1919 – October 7, 1980) was a Dutch-Belgian painter whose artistic journey unfolded across decades, driven by an unwavering commitment to portraying the visceral core of human emotion and resonating with the spirit of Cobra—a movement that irrevocably shaped his creative vision.
