His journey began within the prestigious halls of the Castello Sforzesco Art School, where he cultivated a rigorous technical foundation. Yet, while his roots are firmly planted in the intellectual soil of Milan, Arlati’s artistic soul found its true resonance much further south. In the early 1970s, a pivotal relocation to the sun-drenched island of Ibiza transformed his creative trajectory, shifting his focus from mere representation to a deep, philosophical exploration of light and texture.
Arlati’s early aesthetic development was shaped by the dynamic energy of Italian Futurism, a movement that celebrated motion and technological progress.
