Margaret Evangeline Wilson (1890–1977): A Pioneer of British Realism

Margaret Evangeline Beard was born in Hampshire to wealthy parents and studied at the Central School or Arts & Crafts, the Slade School of Art and, from 1912–1916, the Royal Academy schools. She lived in London until 1960, then moved to Deal, Kent, and opened an art gallery in Walmer in 1961.
