Lindner’s early work reveals a meticulous attention to detail, particularly in his depictions of maritime scenes. His paintings of Dutch harbors, like “Golden Afternoon,” are characterized by a remarkable precision—the glint of sunlight on water, the weathered textures of boats and buildings, the subtle shifts in color as clouds drift across the sky.
