Cliff Holden FCSD (December 12, 1919 – April 20, 2020) was a British painter, designer, and silk-screen printer whose career spanned decades and cemented his place as a significant figure in postwar British art. Born in Manchester, England, Holden’s formative years were marked by an early fascination with agriculture and veterinary science—a grounding that would subtly inform his artistic sensibilities.
